Role Summary/Purpose: The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the day to day activities of the Nigerian import and export consignments. The main focus will be to successfully manage the importation of inbound GE O&G materials and spares for ongoing projects and to ensure that imports are processed by our appointed import agent in compliance with the GE Spirit & Letter and also local / international anti corruption laws
Essential Responsibilities
• Provide complete import / export service supporting activities to contribute to the effective fulfillment of shipping terms and condition of all International transaction
• Comply with all Nigeria import controls and regulatory requirements and fulfill documentary requirements of the importing country
• Provide close monitor on the freight vendor performance and report non conformance issues
• Provide accurate shipping invoices and related export / import documents to approved broker, customers and other related parties
• Show uncompromising integrity to ensure full compliance with company SOP's, EHS rules, GE compliance policies
• Maintain and ensure Customs documentation records are update and available for internal & external audit
• To perform any other related duties as assigned by the manager
Qualifications/Requirements: 
• HND or B.SC in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 3 years experience with Oil & Gas Industry Logistics, Freight forwarding companies, or Customs documentation control
• In depth Knowledge of ICC INCO TERMS 2000
