NIGERIA - DEPUTY EXAMS MANAGER
The British Council in Nigeria is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of an 'Deputy Country Exams Manager' based in Lagos.
The post holder will be responsible for the setting up and maintenance of quality systems/processes to support the Nigeria examinations team.
THIS WILL INCLUDE:
Implementing UK examinations board and BC standards in all 4 BC centres
Leading on all customer facing systems and processes
Leading on a specific exam product area
Leading on marcomms for the Nigeria exams team

NIGERIA- IELTS EXAMINERS
The British Council in Nigeria is looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join thier team of IELTS Examiners in Lagos, Abuja and Port Harcourt.
Requirements: 
   An undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate degree.
   A recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognised equivalent as part of a recognised university award course.
   At least 3 years full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year post certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
   The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.

NIGERIA - EXAMS FINANCE OFFICER
The British Council in Nigeria is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of an 'Exams Finance Officer' (maternity cover) based in Lagos.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 
   To support Examination Services in Nigeria in delivering an effective and efficient business by providing financial and process analysis and support to the team, working closely with ESM and Finance Teams.
   To support the wider work of British Council Nigeria by ensuring best practice is shared with information Teams and Finance Teams across the country.
   To contribute to the development of British Council Nigeria as an innovative and high performing country operation.
   To model the values and principles of an intergrated operation and to contribute to British Council's regional strategy.
GENERIC SKILLS: 
   Minimum 3 years professional accounting experience
   Familiarity with SAP environment
   Professional accountancy qualification e.g: ACCA
   Demonstrable experience of and proficiency in using EXCEL
   Excellent written and spoken English

The British Council in Nigeria is looking for a qualified individual to fill the post of a 'Customer Service Officer' in Kano.
Duties:The selected candidate will implement the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused services, ensuring that the needs of our customers are met. The selected candidate should have a proven track record of successful work in a customer-focused environment, and be adept at team-working as well as working independently. They should be used to meeting demanding deadlines. The selected candidate should also have good IT skills.
