The successful candidate will be required to:
Push emerging categories & NPD products.

The Person: The right candidate must:
Have a minimum of first degree in Science or Engineering

Have good analytical skills to analyse trade data.
Have good communication skills.

Supply Chain Planner

The Role:Supply Chain Planner
The successful candidates will be required to:
· Create an optimised rolling 24 month supply plan that takes into account the demands and constraints of domestic & export demand, materials supply, stock targets and production efficiencies and capacity
· Create an optimised rolling 13 week production plan (MPS) {longer if capacity is constrained} that takes into account the demands and constraints of domestic & export demand, materials supply, stock targets and production efficiencies and capacity
· Confirm work orders or schedules, progress chase/pursuit and ensure that stock is maintained at agreed levels required to buffer against demand variability
· Attend and lead weekly & monthly production planning meeting with supply chain colleagues as part of a formal planning process
· Monitor finished goods stock levels against current and future requirements taking action on any foreseen shortages and excesses
· Communicate with local Purchasing and Imported Materials Supply teams to expedite / de-expedite materials as indicated by the MPS
· Conduct regular production capacity assessments to ensure RCCP is always based on latest data
· Monitor and maintain planning & inventory parameters in Mfg/Pro for all finished products & materials
· Liaise closely with factory staff to ensure that any short term changes made to accommodate actual production or materials constraints do not adversely affect the overall plan
· Monitor production to plan performance and coordinate action for improvement with supply chain colleagues and factory management
· Ensuring that supply chain colleagues are kept informed of any changes to plan or other issues that may affect materials demand
The Person:
The right candidates must:
Possess a university degree in sciences, engineering or other related discipline, an MBA will be an added advantage.
Possess a minimum of two years work experience in planning and logistics.
Have detailed knowledge of the production planning and purchasing process, together with the understanding of company’s portfolio of materials and suppliers.
Be familiar with stock control techniques and issues.
Have sound knowledge of MRPII techniques and systems.
Have a detailed knowledge of vendor management, principles and practices.

The successful candidate will be required to:

CUSTOMER SERVICE CHAMPION

The successful candidate will be required to:
Own weekly critical material stock-out (CMS) meeting between local purchasing team and planners.
Liaise with planners to determine top SKU’s with 80% value (A category items) and ensure that there are no materials stock-out for the products through closer interaction with buyers for local materials follow up and supply team for imported materials.
Monitor away NPD from operational planers. Materials inflow for initial production should be in line with proposed launch date. Liaise accordingly with marketing, purchasing and factory on issues relating to artworks approval, BOM’s, etc to avoid undue delays.
Improve service level to 100% for all major products by working with depot services manager to ensure prompt distribution of FG ex –factory and RDC to depots.
Work with planners to develop departmental KPI’S and generate monthly reports
Understand and measure changes in sales forecasts SKU by SKU AND monitor impact on inventory level

Possess a good university degree in sciences, engineering and other numerical discipline, an MBA will be an added advantage
Possess minimum of 3-5 years work experience in production processes
