Job Description
STS Officer - Cash Management Operations
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Daily monitoring of the STS platform to ensure transaction flow is happening in line with agreed SLA
• Print, record and dispatch all LBC and IBC requests
• Maintain stock and record of all cheque movements and ensure agreement with GL balances
• Investigation and timely clearance of outstanding items on Nostro and suspense accounts relating to STS
• Report and promptly escalate all exceptions on the S2B platform and follow up till resolve.
• Ensure that all control and pre-processing checks are done in accordance with laid down guidelines for non-STP transactions.
• Actively support the sales team in the drive for migration of clients to the S2B platform by provision of relevant utilization reports
• Ensure that all enquiries and complaints relating to domestic payments are promptly attended and tracked to closure
• Ensure that all related fees and charges on STS are taken promptly and correctly
• Ensure all currency holidays are tracked and promptly marked on the system
• Liaise with GM to obtain and load daily currency rates
Qualifications & Skills
• Good University degree
• Minimum 3 years banking experience
• Good PC skills
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills
In compliance with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Act of 2004, all applicants should ensure that they have completed the mandatory NYSC programme. A discharge certificate will be required as evidence of completion of the programme. Where an exemption has been granted, a certificate of exemption will also be required.
