Job description
DIMENSIONS OF THE JOB
EGINA is a deep offshore development on the block OML 130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited located 150 km from the coast.
Development in 1550 m water depth include the spread moored large size FPSO of 240 POB associated to an offloading calm buoy, 2 production loops connecting subsea manifold with 20 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 20 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties into AKPO export pipeline to Amenam.
During CFT and basic design period up to Contract Award:-
· Ensure implementation in his/her own discilpline of all HSE and QC requirements and report to SPS Engineering Manager on any deviation.


· Follow-up of Basic Engineering (BE) Contractor's activities related to Tie-in and Connection Systems, in accordance with the BE schedule requirements, in order to ensure compliance with Company / Project specifications and Field Development needs.
· Liaison with other SPS company disciplines to ensure that UFR installation needs and constraints are fully considered and reflected in equipment and system design specifications developed by the BE contractor.
· Review / development of the schedule for SPS / UFR interfaces to ensure coherency of design and equipment supply dates between the SPS and UFR packages. Close liaison with planning will be required.
· Review the definition of the proposed SPS Qualification and Systems Testing programmes, ensuring that UFR concerns are adequately addressed.
· Review the development of SPS scope of supply document for Connection /Tie-in Systems, IMR tooling and equipment supply to the UFR Contract – production equipment, test equipment, installation aids and spares – to ensure it is complete and in accordance with both SPS and UFR Contract needs.
· Manage the production of the BE design Dossier for Tie-in / Connection systems and inspection maintenance and Repair (IMR) to be in line with the schedule for issue of the SPS Call For Tender.
· The evaluation and reporting of the execution of the BE Contractor’s scope of work including, as required, the identification and management of any required remedial actions.

· Evaluation of the commercial aspect of the CFT Exhibits for the SPS as they affect Tie-in / Connection Systems and interfaces to the UFR.
· Liaison with Company specialists within technical department to ensure conformance of proposed designs with, or for approval to derogate from, Company specifications.
· Inter-package coordination with Company Project teams to ensure coherency of cross package design and project execution interfaces.
· Report to the SPS Engineering Manager formally, on a weekly and monthly basis, and on an ad-hoc basis with respect to equipment Qualification and Systems Testing activities.
· Participate in preparation of the CFT Appraisal Procedures and Documentation.
Post Contract Award;-
· Monitor contractor conformance with the engineering specifications
· Ensure execution of the work is conducted in accordance with Contract objectives and requirements.

> 10 years experience with Subsea production System with relevant experience of Tie-In / Connection system and Inspection Maintenance Repair (IMR) related activities. A strong preference for offshore installation experience of SPS equipment with previous experience of Company / Operator Representation during FEED / BE Studies and / or detailed design viewed as advantageous
