The federal university of petroleum resources Effurun (FUPRE) Delta state, Nigeria was established in March 2007 under a federal government of Nigeria initiative to build a specialized university to produce unique high level manpower and relevant expertise for the oil and gas sector in Nigeria and worldwide.
FUPRE: is the first of its kind in Africa and it is destine to be the premier international institution-of-choice with state-of-the-art facilities to provide the petroleum and allied sectors, world-class education, training, research, consultancy and extension services.
Applications are invited for suitable qualified security candidates to fill vacant position of chief security officer (CSO) of the federal university of petroleum resources, effurun.
THE JOB



The chief security officer of the university is responsible to the vice-chancellor for the security of lives and property in the institution.
He is responsible for the effective coordination of security in and around the university and lisises with other security agencies in the discharge of his duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prospective candidates wishing to apply for the position of chief security officer of the university should possess the following:
A good honors degree in criminology/social sciences from a recognized university
Evidence of intensive training in a well-established and government-recognized security organization or an arm of the arm forces or paramilitary organization with a minimum of 10 years’ experience on the job.
An assistant superintendent of police (ASP) in the Nigeria police or its equivalent rank in any of the armed forces, who must possess a bachelor degree in criminology/social sciences with a minimum of 10 year’s experience on the job
NYSC discharge certificate.
AGE LIMIT
Candidates applying for the position should not be above 45 years of age
