Job description
Project
1. Liaise with Package Managers in establishing Training needs of project staff, as well as ensure the execution of the plans and programmes in conjunction with Deep Water Training team.
2. Ensure cost saving measures in the execution of the project training plan, thereby bring about a cost reduction in the activities of the project
3. Liaise with project HSE to follow up HSE training programmes and sessions while ensuring the development maintenance and execution of the HSE training matrix .
4. Ensure maintenance of accurate training certification for project personnel and NAPIMS, NNPC Trainees & Secondees as appropriate
5. Prepare a Monthly report on his activities as well as the performance of the training plan as well as budget performance.
Authorities
6. Liaise with NAPIMS Project Leader in implementing and administering training and development program for NAPIMS Trainees & Secondees
7. Follow-up NAPIMS participation schedule to ensure proper implementation and documentation. This will include coordinating travel tickets and estacodes
8. Prepare and follow up training programs/plan for NNPC nominees as well as for the project’s UFR, SPS GSR, Drilling, FOPs, QA/QC and FPSO packages within the Engineering, Procurement and Construction contract
9. Attend and participate in Project/NAPIMS meetings as required
10. And any other duties as assigned by the direct hierarchy.
Job requirements
Qualification: Degree qualified or relevant experience.
Professional Experience: 5 – 8yrs working experience in Training capacity or Ventures Management capacity. Strong administration background, excellent organisational skills, understanding of customer service concepts. Ability to work on own initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
