Our Client is an up coming institute in the field of economics development & research. They are looking for a Nigerian Executive Assistant.

Job description
The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting executive in and out of the country with extremely busy schedules.
The ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
The position is based in Lagos.

Responsibilities

Responsible for supporting strategic direction of the Executive's office.
Management of CEO's diary to ensure efficient utilization of Executive's time on current priorities.
Ensure that supervision and co-ordination of all activities are in line with current strategic and operational objectives of the organization.
Responsible for effective monitoring and performance management of key initiatives and staff.
Assist in the setting of initiatives in line with the CEO's current operational objectives.
Will provide support and advice to CEO’s local strategic and operational needs.
Responsible for co-ordination, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of various projects
Will represent the CEO as required, on various committees, official functions, and meetings (nationally and internationally).
Act as liaison between management levels within the organization.
Assist in policy development, implementation, and review.

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of direct working experience with CEO of large corporation
Skilled Executive with excellent planning and organizational skills
Diligence in managing challenging situations and multiple priorities through to completion.
Ability to develop, interpret; apply strategic and operational policies / guidelines effectively and accurately.
Initiative to work independently and also as a team member.
Ability to exercise discretion, confidentiality, and judgment in dealing with sensitive issues or data.
Outstanding verbal, written communication and negotiating skills.
Well-developed research and analysis skills, using findings to develop well evidenced conclusions.
Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence at corporate levels and across organization boundaries.
Excellent word processing skills, computer literate
