Job description
MAIN ACTIVITIES :
Use the general rules in place in the Construction Team to supervise and record the work done by the Contractor(s)
Specific HSE MS aspects should be respected by the Electrical Construction Contractor(s)
Use of the internal software tools to monitor the planned and realized work. Focus on the remaining works and check and review the progress.
Anticipate, raise and manage problems by checking in due time the Engineering documents
Anticipate, raise and manage problems by checking the submission schedule for engineering documents and monitoring the submission of engineering documents against an approved schedule.
Anticipate problems by checking in due time planning aspects related to all interface issues.
Cost analysis in case of additional work
Ensure that quality and correct engineering practices are followed together with proper planning and cost.
Maintain good relationships with Contractor(s), being flexible enough but also strict when necessary (safety or other aspects) to achieve the objectives of the Project.
Liaise with safety, cost, planning and quality control to improve effectiveness of team
Be autonomous and able to work in difficult and pressing challenges.
Review Contractor deliverables for Electrical Engineering
Review Vendor deliverables related to Electrical Engineering
Participate to technical meetings & Project meetings as and when required.
Review & approve Electrical Engineering Works
Review and answer to Design and Construction Contractor queries
Carry out necessary coordination with specialists from Head-quarters and all relevant approving authorities
Follow up on Inspections and Tests carried out by Suppliers and Contractors for Electrical Scope
Provide technical supports in reviewing Construction Engineering Deliverables and in field surveys and in field engineering coordination with Contractor and Subcontractors to ensure that Electrical activities in the field are done as per the technical requirements and with acceptable quality.
Provide Interface Engineer and Engineering Coordinator with technical support for the interface management.

Job requirements
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 15 years work experience in Electrical Engineering and Construction
It is essential the candidate has previous experience in Electrical design of Buildings
Experience of Telecoms, Instrumentation and Controls in Buildings
Fluent in English, Strong Communication skills, Autonomous, Highly motivated, Rigorous.
