Training & Agent Manager

Reporting to: Head of Operations


Purpose
Overall responsibility for the agent network. This includes 1) presentations to interested corporates (banks, mobile, retailer etc) on the business model of becoming a Company’s agent/distributor; 2) signing up both corporate and individual agents; 3) comprehensive training to agents; 4) quality control (spot checks) at various agent location
Accountabilities
1.
Identify, approach and prepare comprehensive presentations/business cases for presentation to corproates interested in becoming Company’s agents.
2.
Sign up corporate agents. This includes negotiating commercial terms and ensuring that contracts/T&C etc are signed by both parties.
3.
Sign up individual agents, explain T&C and other business/legal requirements to potential agents.
4.
Provide comprehensive and ongoing training to agents and agent trainers (train the trainer). This will include system training, product training, training on branding guidelines and requirements
5.
Manage the agent network and deal with any issues raised by agents in a timely and efficient manner. Escalate such issues to the Head of Operations and or the Executive Committee when required.
6.
Conduct spot checks and “mystery shopping” exercises to insure that Company’s agents are meeting the companies standards re customer service and that Company’s branding is appropriately displayed at various outlets.
Knowledge & Skills, Education & Experience
Education Qualification, Training & Certifications:
Tertiary Education
Previous Work Experience:
Managing an agent network, corporate negotiation, training, business development
Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of processing systems, hardware, software, computer operations, data entry and processing.
Knowledge of risk management, fraud and security.
Knowledge of PCI compliance issues.
Knowledge of risk management, fraud and security.
Knowledge of PCI compliance issues.
IT Literacy
PC Literate

Additional Skills:
Good presentation skills
Relationship management capabilities
