Job Description:
•Interpret roaming contract as negotiated and prepared by the Roaming manager
•Update negotiated and reviewed Partner Draft Roaming Agreement
•Information Management
IREG
•Design international roamer record format for IR24, IR32 and IR35 in line with TAP file
•Conduct set-up of functionality and testing of International roaming services (postpaid, GPRS, prepaid and future services)
•Request for signaling (IR.21 signal) and switch data fill for roaming setup
•Schedule IR.21 test date and perform IR.21 test according to the IREG standard
•Determine and issue commercial launch date for Roaming Partnership
•Execute the SIM Card exchange process between MTN and its roaming partners
•Document the test results in the MTN IR24 and send this document to the Billing Group within IS and the prospective partner
TADIG
•Draw up safeguards to ensure tariff application and TAPIN and TAPOUT are as contracted via standard AA.14 or via bilateral agreements.
•Responsible for MTNN TAP file format checking.
•Responsible for MTNN RAP file format checking.
•Responsible for TAP release and other GSMA roadmap adherence by MTNN
Job Conditions:
Normal MTN working conditions May be required to work weekends and extra hours Local and International travel will be involved
Reporting To: Roaming Manager
Required Skills:
•4 years work experience of which
•at least 2 years in wireless telecommunications industry, with emphasis on international roaming
•Minimum of one year experience in reviewing records. E.g. Auditing, record vetting etc.
•Business or financial awareness on roaming and International monetary exchange.
•Experience in customer relations/communications
