Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an industrial-tech, market-leading services to the wells (Oil & Gas), to recruit an Area Manager for the Africa.
Job description
The Area Manager has overall responsibility for business operations in the Africa. It manages its business directly or through the bases of operations under his responsibility. Its mission includes mainly: customer relations, sales, operations, administration, support bases.
The Area Manager represents the company on its geographical area, in this context, it is the values and image of the company, and acts contractor responsible for developing the technology of the company.
Responsibilities
Structuring of the action plan, strategy and services to best meet demand and to obtain contracts for the supply of equipment and / or services.
Exploration and development of new customer accounts, identifying market opportunities.
Followed the order book and good performance of contracts and operations.
Ensures continuous improvement of services offered
Analysis and technical understanding of applications, distribution and coordination of the preparatory work lair different departments (legal, technical, commercial ...)
Participates in negotiations and / or clarifications required by the customer
Technological and Marketing to understand and anticipate customer needs, propose the development of new services
In charge of monitoring the pace and openings based on its geographical area.

Qualifications and experience
Engineering degree, preferably in gas / oil industry or associated
MBA or knowledge in management and administration would be a plus
Good understanding of technologies related to mechanical and hydraulic
Taste for technology and technical arguments
10-15 of experience in the oil industry, preferably in a service company (Halliburton, Schlumberger, Smith, Weatherford ...)
Experience of a technological environment in which the methodology, rigor, and customer service are essential qualities
Good knowledge of drilling operations, or work-over
Autonomous, structured, rigorous and reliable
Experience as Base Manager, Country Manager, Area Manager would be appreciated
Taste for technical and commercial analysis
Ability to build a professional network, excellent interpersonal skills
A good knowledge of the oil sector in Africa is more
Fluent English
