Job description
b) Specific Activities:
1. To participate to the preparation of organization chart in line with the size of the project and participate to recruitment of adequate resources to get the required quality of the deliverables, equipment & materials.
2. To have the working procedures issued
3. To set a plan with the Contractor to have all deliverables issued on time and check it on a regular basis
4. To organize and control regular checking of the quality of the deliverables
5. To check that the engineering & procurement activities are developed in line with the project specifications, Corporate general specifications and international standards
6. To organize, control and check the inter-discipline coordination and the co-ordination with other sections of the project
7. To make the necessary technical arbitration between the different disciplines in case of conflict interests and keep all parties informed
8. To report to the OFQ Manager on a regular basis and when decisions with an impact on the strategy of the project are needed
9. To liaise with QA/QC manager, Operator Representative, Commissioning Manager, to ensure that the plant design is safe, operable and maintainable
10. To ensure that quality assurance & quality controls procedures are duly implemented by contractor for engineering and procurement activities.
11. To interface with people working in a large range of trades ( operations, cost, schedule, procurement, contracts, construction, quality assurance, etc, …)
12. To organize weekly and/or monthly coordination meetings with Contractor as appropriate.
13. To ensure Contractor provides proper reporting of the progress of his activities (engineering & procurement).
14. To provide assistance to the EPCC4 Company Interface Coordinator for the management of external interfaces:
a. To ensure that contractor’s engineering plans are in line with the Interface Management Plan &
schedule
b. Provide assistance / arbitration in resolving interfaces between EPCC4 contractor and other EPC contractors.
Job requirements
The execution of the SERVICE requires experienced specialists fluent in English and with a knowledge of French.
