Purpose
Primary responsibility for managing and controlling all operational aspects of The company’s systems, applications and interfaces.
Accountabilities
1.
Plan, implement and maintain an effective Company’s system administration system ensuring that all systems, applications and interfaces run smoothly, effectively and efficiently
2.
Manage and oversee two System Administration Support Officers. Manage team scheduling, monitor performance and provide team guidance and leadership.
3.
Undertake daily system administration tasks
4.
Oracle: daily database management
5.
Operating systems: password control, password administration, user creation, system checks and administration
6.
Creation of Agent profile, Back Office users and administrative levels of authority on the system; resetting Agent/Back Office staff Passwords
7.
Immediate removal of redundant profiles (i.e. when staff resign and or are fired they need to be removed from the system and access denied
8.
Disaster recovery: creation and maintenance of DR policies and procedures, management and execution

9.
Backups: creation and maintenance of backup policy and procedures; creation of daily backups physical testing of backups, supervision of moving of backups to secondary site
10.
Interfaces: management of all interfaces including InterSwitch and Etisalat
11.
Security: responsible for implementing and managing strong access control measures (physical and logical – system and data)
12.
Regular monitoring and testing of networks
13.
Maintain and update the Information Security Policy
14.
Responsible for all applications going forward
15.
Implement and manage Change Control policies and procedures and actively engage in proactive change control measures and activities.
16.
Perform all other necessary tasks as required
Knowledge & Skills, Education & Experience
Education Qualification, Training & Certifications:
Relevant technical certification/diploma
N.Dip or B Degree preferable
Previous Work Experience:
Card management
Network and hardware installation experience
Network support fault finding experience
Windows desktop support experience
LINUX redhat experience
Oracle database experience
Any other system application experience would be beneficial

Technical Knowledge:
Knowledge of processing systems, hardware, software, computer operations, data entry and processing.
Knowledge of risk management, fraud and security.
Knowledge of PCI compliance issues.
Additional Skills:
Will be solutions orientated.
Display a track record of high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Hands on approach.
Ability to motivate team members.
