Role Summary/Purpose:
In this role you will provide support for multifunctional groups to ensure 100% compliance in all cases. You will also be a one stop shop for all enquiries revolving around exceptions and ensure processes are complied with. You will also be the internal auditor for all PIB company internal structure cases.
Essential Responsibilities
• To provide advice and requisite interpretation of the Nigerian Content Law
• Liaise with all the involved P&L’s to prepare and monitor GE’s Nigerian Content Plans in compliance with local laws for all the proposals submitted by GEION or PCSNL
• Liaise with the all the involved functions, in particular Legal, HR, Sourcing and Finance, in ensuring compliance with the provisions of the Nigerian Oil & Gas Industry Content Act
• Assist the Sales and Business department in maintaining competitive advantage in adding value to the Nigerian content policy
• Demonstrate high profile and visible leadership by example and communication with teams
• Demonstrate commitment to projecting the company to NAPIMS, DPR, NNPC and NCD Monitoring Board
• Liaise with Quality, Compliance and HR in ensuring that GE complies with expatriate quota obligations
Qualifications/Requirements
• University Degree. Masters qualification is an added advantage
• Sound knowledge of the Nigerian Local Content Law and P.I.B.
• IT literate
• In-depth understanding of the Oil and Gas Legal Regime
• Interface with government regulatory agencies
• Familiar with proposals preparation and/or project management
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• At least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
• Similar role in Nigeria Content Development/training
