Job Description
I am recruiting for a Lead Technical Safety Engineer to be bases in Nigeria on a Permanent Basis.
Reporting to Operation Manager /Project manager on a dedicated project, you will manage a team of safety and environment engineers focussed on Oil and Gas Offshore PROJECT .
You will interface with the Project Manager , the Client, the Partners and the other disciplines like Process, Piping, Civil, Instrumentation etc
Your principal duties will be, but not limited to :
- Risk analysis,
- Design and safety reviews participation and facilitation (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ..),
- Hazardous area classification studies,
- Passive fire-protection studies,
- Active fire-protection studies (firewater pumps station design, fire-fighting network and deluge systems studies, networks and deluge systems hydraulic balance calculation),
- Flammable, toxic gas and fire detection studies,
- Specification, requisition for fire-fighting and personnel protection equipment, technical bid evaluation and vendor follow-up,
- Consequence modelling,
- Quantitative Risk Assessment and other Safety studies (EERA, DOS,...) subcontracting follow-up
Profile :
Chartered Engineer (Process school or Industrial Risks assessments), you have a significant experience of more than ten years in Safety engineering in Oil & Gas Industry and have already managed a team.
Dynamic, proactive, rigorous, autonomous to organise and plan ahead, you are easy going and team mate in order to evolve and assert yourself in a multicultural environment.
