Our client
Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by an international FMCG Group to recruit a Sales Training Manager for its activities in Nigeria.

Job description
To ensure that salesmen attain the required skills and competencies to meet the strategic objectives of the company.
To design, develop and implement sales training programmes that enables salesmen internalize key issues of leadership orientation and approach to business.
To ensure efficiency and integrity of the sales training function.

Responsibilities
To coordinate curriculum design activities to provide required input into the development of a comprehensive sales training curriculum.
To design, develop and implement sales training programmed to meet identified skills gaps both within RB and Distributors sales force and support the sales objectives of the company.
Liaise with the HR Function to compile data on identified sales training needs arising from the PDR exercise.
Liaise with KD to determine training needs of the DBs Sales staff.
To schedule in-house and external courses to meet identified training needs.
Identify and appoint reputable external sales training consultants subject to requisite management approval.
Develop sales training plan/calendar and coordinate its implementation to ensure effective formal and on-the-job training delivery.
Organize periodic sales training system evaluation/reviews to ensure effective/efficient training delivery.
Maintain accurate sales training database on all sales staff.
Prepare regular reports/updates for management attention.
Monitor effectiveness of training techniques and suitability of training programs.
Participate in territory meetings, trade shows, territory activities, special events and seminars.
Liaise with the HR Function to obtain ITF training approval for all sales training programmes.

Qualifications et experience
A B.Sc degree in Marketing or any related discipline
Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a similar position especially in a FMCG or large industrial setup handling all Sales matters
Must have excellent problem solving, leadership, cross-discipline and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of Program Planning, implementation and evaluation principles, practices and procedures
Commercial awareness – Understands the HR roles
Excellent in problem solving, analytical skills
Must have experience in leading managing and developing teams, able to influence people of all levels
Flexibility in thinking and pragmatic problem solving skills
