Role Summary/Purpose
-To support the activities that revolve around the receipt and issue of consumable materials.
-To operate a locked store policy for control of equipment.
-Assist in the functions of the Test and Assembly.
Essential Responsibilities
•Responsible for the control and maintenance of the consumable stock levels for the Build Team operation.
•Accountable for maintaining a locked store and booking out system.
•Ensure an accurate and full handover to the appropriate person on the next shift.
•Maintain a hazard free and tidy work area.
•Be in control of hired equipment.
•Liaise with Manufacturing Engineering and Supervision.
•Responsible for implementation of Health and Safety issues pertaining to role.
•Handle the control of equipment for repair in a timely manner.
•Responsible for Oil Storage control and condition as per EMS roles and responsibilities.
Qualifications/Requirements
• Degree qualified in Engineering,Business Administartion or any of the Social Sciences
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Stores environment.
• Knowledge in company computer systems and processes.
Desired Characteristics
•Self-disciplined, cooperative manner with a capacity to work in a multi-product environment.
•High level of HSE awareness to include environmental control on oils and fluids within the site.
•Certification in slinging and lifting and fork lift certificate.
•Ability to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
• Strong written & oral communication skills
