Job description
Specific Activities:
1. Responsible for the follow up of contractor’s engineering activities in his discipline and to
ensure compliance with project specifications, COMPANY general specification and international
standards.
a. To ensure that scope of work is fulfilled in his discipline in accordance with the project
schedule
b. To review contractor’s and vendor’s documentation in timely manner.
c. To organize and participate regularly in lead to lead meetings with contractor’s
Architectural engineers & subcontractor’s
2. Responsible for the follow up of contractor procurement activities for E&I:
a. Technical Bid analysis and recommendation
b. Identification of deviations
c. Attend to FAT (as required)
3. To report regularly to the OFQ head of engineering on the progress of the work and on the
potential changes relating to proposed design
4. To anticipate problems in his discipline and to propose optimized solutions to the OFQ head of
engineering.
5. To provide technical inputs to change order requests issued by the contractor.
6. To liaise and interface with other engineering specialists (safety, HVAC, ICSS,
Telecom…) to ensure the good integration and interfaces of the Architectural works for the OFQ
living quarter.
7. To provide assistance and inputs to the project external Interface Management System:
a. Review and ensure that technical information conveyed by Interfaces Data Sheets are
relevant and duly implemented by the contractor
b. Provide technical assistance in resolving interfaces issues related to E&I between contractor and other EPC contractors.
8. To liaise & coordinate with field operations team (in particular commissioning team) to ensure
compliance of the works with Client uses
9. To liaise with COMPANY headquarter specialist with regards to the OFQ architectural design.
Job requirements
The execution of the SERVICE requires experienced specialists fluent in English and with a
knowledge of French.
