Our client
Adexen is mandated by an Oil & Gas Company to select a Geologist with GIS certification.
Job description
The Geologist will be responsible for the supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental analysis, design, and construction engineering services
Responsibilities
Observation and investigation of the geology in engineering projects
Engineering geological model development
Establishing standards and scope for the engineering geological activities
Engineering geological information management
Communicating the geology to engineers
Provide project management for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects including the preparation of scope, schedules and budgets.
Contribute to business development and proposal efforts and prepare technical reports.
Qualifications et experience
A B.Sc degree or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in Geology.
Minimum of 5 years work experience in Geological Engineering.
Good Knowledge on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
Ability to work without supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
Must possess all other skills required in this profession
